@end3of6days9 For you all saying it’s gross, canning is not always so one can come home and pop open a jar for dinner. Canning is time consuming. It’s for times like covid or when a disaster strikes...I’m sure the Ukrainians are glad they canned.

@nanax3g @end3of6days9 Pressure canning kills the bacteria. She is wiping the lids to ensure they seal properly. Otherwise, oxygen will get in and cause bacteria to form.
