@PurpGoldLakers I don’t think so. Objectively, I was saying I don’t think I can think of another team in any sport that can put together a celeb row like that, Lakers included.
@OldStirling Bad news is your normal, well-adjusted friends want nothing to do with you. Good news is that you’ve cultivated an online community of weirdos and losers.
@__Injaneb96@sircalebhammer Is he under the impression that some documents have been released that actually link Israel to JFK’s killing? I mean Lee Harvey Oswald was walking around after the killing with a gun. He killed someone else too.
@ChrisTokita@LeeKuanYimby He seems to suggest DSA Los Angeles guides their voters to vote by mail at the last minute to troll, which, although odd, is a plausible explanation I guess.
@ChrisTokita@LeeKuanYimby But why? All of your explanations had nothing to do with LA. They were about demographics of progressives (being younger) in general.
@ChrisTokita@LeeKuanYimby I’ve heard that before about Dem voters in the general in LA (and California generally) but I’ve never heard it specifically about progressives outperforming establishment Dems in the primary. Nonetheless, I’d be curious to know why that pattern exists.
@ChrisTokita@LeeKuanYimby Ah I see, so the “mail-ins tend to favor the progressives” theory is LA specific. Is there a reason for that? It seems to be that mail ins favor whoever they favor, and people try to explain it after the fact.
@ChrisTokita@LeeKuanYimby That is absolute bullshit. I remember when McGrath caught Booker on the mail-ins in the last primary to face McConnell (not this one), everyone kept saying mail ins skewed to the establishment candidate.
@JackMac A small batch of mail ins came in favorable to Raman. Still it seems like it should be more like 50/50. If she keeps that exact margin for the rest of the outstanding it would end up a tie.
@smarkreilly Even if they were legal to build, it would be hard to get developers to build those homes ground up in that neighborhood (that would probably be worth less than replacement cost).
