Today @VCSA_PAO pinned Silver Stars on 2 @101stAASLTDIV Soldiers. SGT Yanez and SPC Bynum displayed valor under hostile fire with a @USArmy @101CAB MEDEVAC in @USFOR_A. They refused to leave a wounded Soldier on the battlefield, completely disregarding their own safety. @FORSCOM

Sgt. Armando Yanez and Sgt. Emmanuel Bynum were presented the Silver Star this morning at the American Aviation Association of America Summit 2019. The award was presented by Vice Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. James McConville. 🦅🚁
