"Did you hear? ICE killed another American!"
"A citizen?"
"Well, no. But he had been here for 35 years."
"So he wasn't supposed to be here. Still, that's not a death sentence. What happened?"
"ICE shot him!"
"An ICE agent just walked up to him and shot him?"
"Well, no. He hit an ICE vehicle and started to run down the ICE agent."
"So he tried to kill an ICE agent."
People who have travelled a lot tend to judge less. Not because they became nicer, but because they ve seen too many versions of what's "normal." In one country, it's normal to eat with your hands. In another, it's normal to stay quiet at the table. In third, it's normal to hug a stranger. When you've seen 30 different versions of "the right way," you stop believing yours is the only one. Travel doesn't just teach geography. It teaches tolerance
People like the Amish because they:
1) Don't leech off taxpayers
2) Don't commit crime
3) Don't force their way of life upon others
That's it. That's really all it takes for a group to be accepted in America.
And yet, most groups still do not manage it.
I am not making less because Elon has more.
I am making less because politicians like you keep taking more of it.
And what little I am left with must be used to buy things that your policies constantly make more expensive.
Glad I could clear that up for you.
Breakups in your 30s hit differently. It's not the same as heartbreak at 21. At 21, you cry, vent to friends, go out, distract yourself, and somehow you heal. Back then, life felt long, full of possibilities, what ifs, and( second chances). But in your late 20s or as you approach your 30s, it feels different. You are not only losing a person. You are losing plans, routines, and the version of yourself that was building a future with them.
Uhhh probably cuz she lives there? I used to say the same thing. Whenever I was tired at school I said "ugh I just wanna go home" not "ugh I just wanna go to the South Carolina Governors Mansion." Yall are attacking a kid just cuz of who her grandfather is and that’s disgusting.
