Pray for the dead that God has mercy on them forgive them their sins that they did not get to confess. If you died and had a grave sin and couldn’t confess, you better hope there are loving people in the church that would pray for your remaining sins to be forgiven in the next life. This is the awesome mercy of the Lord that other could intercede for you even after you die
