We need him to be impactful even during non pressing phases. He has the talent, technical quality to do it. Next season should be the one to make that leap up.
We need him to progress next season. Hope he’s well adapted to the league now. 24/25, his output was better because we pressed more and he’s very good at stealing the ball off high up. Last season since we were more passive OOP, his impact flattened out a lot.
🚨 Florentino Pérez plans to launch €150m official bid on Tuesday for Michael Olise.
Despite denying his name live, the main star in president’s mind is Olise — as @JBurtTelegraph@jfelixdiaz report.
Bayern’s Uli Hoeneß said in May “no chance to sell, not even for €200m”.
#mufc are looking at tapping the private placement market to refinance $425m of debt due next year.
United are in early discussions with banks, and don’t yet have firm plans for how it will refinance the debt.
The potential refinancing comes as some members of the Glazer family debate whether to sell their stakes in the football club [@business]

Omar Berrada on whether hiring Ruben Amorim was a mistake…
“I don’t see it as black or white in the sense that, yes, it didn’t work out in the end the way we expected it to do then you can look at it in hindsight and say it’s not the right appointment.
“But I actually think that Ruben deserves a lot of credit for things. He went through a very difficult season last year, he was put under difficult circumstances, but he did help raise the standards in the dressing room.
“So I think he deserves a lot of credit for that and I hope he goes on to be a successful coach. I wish him all the best. We felt we needed to make a change and in the end it worked out with Michael.”

🚨🗣️ Omar Berrada about players coming to the club: “We have to be really disciplined, it's simple. We have a plan, we know what we can INVEST in, and we have to stick to that.
“In some cases, we may decide to make an investment knowing it's the RIGHT thing for not just the next two or three years, but the next 10 YEARS. But clearly, we need to stay very focused on what we're trying to achieve.
“It's very important that you don't let the market or the agents dictate what we should be doing.
“When I look at the football leadership team, plus the investment we've made in Michael Sansoni [director of Data]’s team on the data side, we're in pretty good shape and I think the quality of the decisions will continue to improve as the team settles and we continue investing in those areas.” #MUFC [Mu]
🚨🗣️ Omar Berrada on Carrick: “I didn't know him before he took up his role, so it was during the interview that I met him for the first time.
“I'd heard a lot of good things about him, and it all turned out to be true.
“He's someone who loves the club, who understands its values, who knows very well how to manage people, and we've seen that with the players and the way they've reacted to him taking charge.
“I think he's earned the right to continue leading the team over the next two years, or even more.
“I'd describe him as someone very calm, but also very motivated, and I'm sure he'll do everything he can, with his staff, to ensure we have a performing team for the years to come.” #MUFC [Mu, @MUnitedFR]

@V2Mejfuchbal I feel like Bayern will be similar to Barcelona move. I hope he goes to a club where he feels he has to take more responsibility instead of delegating stuff.
I don’t think Arsenal, Real Madrid or Chelsea are interested (agent driven). Bayern, Spurs, Villa and probably couple of Italian clubs are maybe interested.
🚨👀 | NEW:
Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa are believed to have an interest in signing Marcus Rashford. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea may emerge as other options.
