A scientific survey conducted by the reputable research company Ground Control Research shows that 81% of Afrikaners are positive about AfriForum and Solidarity. A further 13% tend toward neutrality by giving a score of five out of ten for their attitude toward AfriForum and Solidarity.

The result is significant, as the research was commissioned by the Betereinders, an organisation that is critical of AfriForum. It is also significant that a substantial portion of the sample was conducted among young people.

The result is, of course, an irritation for the small group of commentators, journalists and academics who falsely attempt to dismiss the support that AfriForum and Solidarity enjoy among Afrikaners as a fringe (2%) phenomenon. The "Gift of the Givers" is a fraud.

Their founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, stands at public rallies shouting "We are Hamas." He built his earlier operation as the South African arm of the Al-Aqsa Foundation, the same network intelligence agencies linked to Hamas funding. Then he rebranded as "Gift of the Givers" in 1992 and pretended it was neutral charity for all South Africans.

It was never neutral.

While this man and his organisation enjoy ANC protection and government access, they push an Islamist agenda under the cover of aid. Reports and videos show the pattern; food and help delivered with dawah attached, pressure on vulnerable Christians to convert. The same group that claims to help everyone has been accused of prioritising Muslims and advancing Sharia loyalty over South African law. Sooliman himself brags about following only Sharia and dismisses criticism as boring.

This is the outfit the ANC keeps close while White South Africans are slaughtered on farms, Christian communities are targeted, and our culture is erased. They get platforms, funding influence, and protection. We get betrayal.

Your "charity" is a Trojan horse for the same ideology that has no place in a Christian or Western society. It is incompatible. It is a direct threat to everything decent South Africans still cling to.

We are not fooled. We are not silenced by your fake outrage or media defenders. We see the founder, we see the history, we see the ANC enabling it.

The Gift of the Givers is a gift to radical Islam, not to South Africa.

I don't think the @Our_DA realises what damage John Steenhuisen just did to their voter base with his @News24 Interview.

First, let's define the term "AfriMaga", considering John, with the help of Ryan Coetzee, coined the term.

In John's own words, "Afrimaga" are people who support the following organisations and who are conservative:

- Afriforum (300,000 members)
- Solidariteit (200,000 members)
- Sakeliga (Represents 12,000 businesses)
- SAAI (6000+ members)

So, according to John, if you support any of the above-mentioned organisations OR are conservative (right-wing), then John believes you don't share the DA's values and principles, as you are "AfriMaga" supporters.

He even goes further to say that some of you are "racists" and are the people who voted "NO" in the referendum.

I can say comfortably that John just directly insulted more than two million people who have in the past voted for the DA and would have potentially voted for them again.

He also says all of the above as the DA welcomes Cllrs from the ANC/EFF/MK into their party and deploys them as councillors. So communists and socialists are welcome in the DA, but not conservative people who support organisations like Afriforum and Solidariteit.
