Spartanburg Christian Academy has hired Sam Clark as its next Head Boys Basketball Coach.

Clark previously served as an assistant coach at Byrnes, where he was on staff from 2010–2015 and again from 2019–2026.

He replaces Ben Johnson, who recently left SCA for Southside Christian.

A high-IQ point guard, he consistently creates for others, making advanced reads out of the pick-and-roll and playing off two feet to find teammates around the rim.
