Deobandis raise an allegation against a couplet in al-Imām Aḥmad Riḍā Khān’s Qaṣīdah al-Salāmiyyah
kasrat-i baʿd-i qillat peh aksar durūd
ʿizzat-i baʿd-i zillat peh lākhoñ salām
Mawlana Abu Hasan in his inimitable style thrashes this argument through Quranic exegesis
Shameless to call him a Deobandi IMO
The Shaykh endorsed the Meccan Grand Mufti’s fatwa against Nanotwi
He also attested to Mawlana Qasuris’s entire book against Deobandi headhonchos, Nanotwi, Gangohi, and Saharanpuri
If you want proof for any of the above, just ask 😀
among them is chastity and renunciation (zuhd). there were, among the companions, a number of ascetics such as abū dharr, salman, and abū al-dardāʾ — all of whom were disciples of ʿalī (may allah be pleased with him) in this regard.
among them is courage. there were also many brave men among the companions, such as abū dujānah and khālid ibn al-walīd; yet ʿalī’s courage was more beneficial than all of theirs. do you not see that the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the trench (al-aḥzāb): “one strike of ʿalī is better than the worship of all mankind and jinn.”
and ʿalī ibn abī ṭālib said: “by allah, i did not uproot the gate of khaybar by bodily strength, but by a divine (raḥmānī) power.”
among them is generosity. there were many generous men among the companions as well. but his sincerity in generosity reached such a level that he gave away three loaves of bread, and in his regard allah most high revealed: “and they give food, despite their love for it, to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.”(qur’an 76:8)
among them is good character (ḥusn al-khuluq). despite his utmost bravery and valour, he was exceedingly well-mannered and kind, to the extent that even his enemies attributed to him playfulness and cheerfulness.
among them is detachment from the world. it is clear that, despite the worldly riches being opened to him, he did not display indulgence or luxury. and despite his extreme courage, when he stood for the night prayer (tahajjud) and began supplicating and humbling himself before allah, he reached a degree of devotion that none of the later ascetics could equal.
and when he was struck by ibn muljam, he said: “by the lord of the kaʿbah, i have triumphed!”

— SAYYIDAH FĀṬIMAH AL-ZAHRĀ’S PRAISE BY AL-IMĀM AḤMAD RIḌĀ KHĀN —
Five lesser known couplets of Qaṣīdah-i Nūr (published posthumously), composed by al-Imām Aḥmad Riḍā Khān, extolling the virtues of the Queen of Paradise, Sayyidah Fāṭimah al-Zahrā
This is a rare glimpse of a curtain for the tomb of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Medina, commissioned by Sultan Ahmad III in the early 18th century CE (Ottoman period).
Embroidered with metal threads on silk, it once adorned the sacred chamber, bearing inscriptions honouring the Prophet ﷺ and the first four caliphs.
Thanks for amplifying the message, Stephen.
True Jihad prohibits killing of women, children, clergy, non combatants and even protects crops (unlike ur beloved terrorist IDF which kills babies every day for fun).
Jihad means justice and end of oppression, and it will prevail.
Forgiving everyone is better, but some people can cause such irreparable harms that they can’t be forgiven. Even Ibn Khaṭal was not given another chance by the Prophet of Mercy ﷺ.
Lindyman has a great take on marriage. He speaks from a western perspective but still applies:
“Marriage used to be the entry point into adult life. One of the first steps.
Today marriage has become the culmination of adulthood, the final step after a long run of individual experiences. People are expected to first build careers, live alone, travel, date for years, and only then settle into marriage.
Marriage went from foundation to trophy. It is no longer the stabilizing base that anchored young people early, but an almost luxury milestone once life is already sorted out”.
Deobandis are a funny bunch
Their head honchos like gangahoi rejected Mawlid
Now, the Deos see the ummah marking Mawlid so some of them try larping by holding seerah conferences
Then, the original Deos call the Seerah Conferences as "Devilish" and the "Festival of Iblees"
Huzoor TajushSharia Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan writes a kalam praising Huzoor Mufti e Azam Hind Allama Mustafa Raza Khan:
Verse 1:
Tumheñ Jis Ne Bhi Dekha Keh Utha Ahmad Raza Tum Ho
Jamaal e Hazrat e Ahmad Raza Ka Aa-ina Tum Ho
Whoever Saw You Proclaimed, Ahmed Raza You Are
The Mirror Of The Reflection Hazrat Ahmed Raza You Are
Verse 2:
Nahiñ Haamid Raza Hum Me Magar Wajhe Shakeeba-ee
Khuda Rakhe Tumheñ Zinda Mere Haamid Numa Tum Ho
Huzoor Haamid Raza Is Not Amongst Us But You Are Our Consolation,
May Allah Keep You Alive, My Haamid Raza You Are
Verse 3:
Tumhaare Naam Me Tum Ko Buzurgi Ki Sanad Haasil
Raza Wajhe Buzurgi He Raza e Mustafa Tum Ho
In Your Blessed Name You Have Already Attained The Credentials Of Piety
Raza Is The Cause Of This Piety, The Pleasure Of Mustafa You Are
NIKAH FOR SEX
So many modern Muslims undermine the centrality of sex to nikah, as if there is shame in seeking marriage for sex.
Sure, when you buy into the kafir narrative that sex outside of nikah is no big deal, that makes sense. But if you're a believer, nikah is the only way to have sex (especially in the absence of concubines in modern times).
You might argue that marriage is for so many other things. To an extent, sure. But (1) the human need for sex is greater than for most of those other things, and (2) so many of those other things can be achieved to some degree outside of nikah.
Again, if you're having sex outside of nikah (even with your own hand), like the kuffar, then its centrality to nikah diminishes.
This is the case with both monogamy and polygyny, even though modern Muslims fight against the centrality of sex when it comes to polygyny even more than they do when it comes to monogamy - trying to convince you that polygyny is only acceptable as long as the man doesn't enjoy it.
Let's stop lying, please.
