@2147mill 10 years can look like 100k in S&S and mortgage free. Freeing up more money for investments. Now at 47 that isn't too bad and better than alot of people my age.
Cud always have been better if i started earlier...

@2147mill Everyones circumstance is difference. I live up north in lancashire our 3 bed house cost £135k.
If i over pay £500 a month i can have it paid off in 10 more years as apposed to 25. Massive savings in interest.
Also i can invest in a S&S isa too building that pot up.
