Book'em Danno 🤝 Book'em Danno Day
There's something especially poignant about a hometown hero not only returning to his home track, but also winning on the day named in his honor...and that's just what BOOK'EM DANNO did Friday in the Mr. Prospector Stakes at @MonmouthPark 🏆
"Hopefully, we've got one more before the Breeders' Cup," said trainer Derek Ryan. "I know he loves Saratoga and I know he loves the distance so that's the plan. It would be stupid to try something new at this stage."
The tentative plan for the reigning Eclipse Award-winning sprinter is the seven-furlong GI Forego Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 29, a race he also won during his championship season in 2025, before taking on the GI Breeders’ Cup Sprint at Keeneland on Oct. 31.
The 5-year-old gelding holds an impressive record of 12-4-1 from 19 career starts with earnings of $2,270,425.

Happy retirement, War Front 💛
A class act of a stallion that has given SO much more than he has ever taken.
P.S. don’t worry, we will continue showing him off to those who visit us 🥰
It's wet at The Spa, bringing to mind this from July '25 - Nearly's first day! The talented 3yo, back in training w/the great Paula Parsons, spent the summer based out of the harness track. He's raising funds for victims of the tragic fire there. Bid now: https://t.co/VWi9TDp5D4
Sovereignty, outside, with Neil Poznansky, works in company with Thunder Roll and @JuniorandKellyA, Sovereignty’s regular jockey, Saturday AM, on the Oklahoma Training Track. Sovereignty went 5F in 1:00.25; Thunder Roll 1:00.60. Sovereignty, the 2025 HOY, heading to Whitney.
Knightsbridge, a 5yo son of Nyquist bred and owned by @godolphin, won today's G3 Monmouth Cup Stakes by the largest winning margin in race history of 10 1/4 lengths in his first start going two turns for trainer Bill Mott with Flavien Prat aboard 👀
Opting to skip the $1-million GI Whitney Stakes at Saratoga Race Course on Aug. 8, @BobBaffert will instead point Nysos (Nyquist) to the $1-million GI Pacific Classic at Del Mar on Aug. 22.
“I want to get him to the Breeders' Cup the best way that I can.”

Any doubt as to whether he could get the distance were put to bed, as KNIGHTSBRIDGE wins the 9-furlong Monmouth Cup by as much as he pleases. It was the first attempt beyond one mile for the 5-year-old son of Nyquist. Skippylongstocking came up empty, finishing a long way back in third. Final time 1:47.51 🚀
2025 HOTY Sovereignty worked in company with stablemate Thunder Role this morning on the Oklahoma at @Saratoga1863 for trainer Bill Mott 📝
Sovereignty, a @godolphin homebred by Into Mischief, worked a bullet 5F in 1:00.25 as he preps for the G1 Whitney on August 8.
The last time Sovereignty made a start at Saratoga, he won the G1 Travers by 10 lengths and is a career 3-for-4 at the track.

Life Is Good gets his revenge on Flightline!
Two good-looking firsters here in the first at Saratoga as the speedy THE GOOD LIFE zips to victory over POWERLINE, who had some trouble. Both colts have a future 👀
Just a kind of gawky sophomore, a GSW at one track, in May of 2021 at #BelmontPark. By the time I next saw him, about a year and a half later, he'd added GSWs at three more tracks in two countries and would add his first Breeders' Cup Turf to his resume.
