It was stated that the NPS would not be applicable to
Armed Forces & would be governed by the Old Pension Scheme.
The #MHA by communication dated 06/08/2004 clarified
That the CAPFs are "Armed Force of the Union" under
MHA. Hence CAPFs are entitled to the Old Pension Scheme.

IPS DGs of CAPFs have abolished Old Pension 4 CAPF without considering the fact that CAPFs are Armed Forces of the Union & AFs were allowed to continue with OPS. Alien leadership for a reason.
