Trayce Jackson-Davis tonight:
13 PTS | 10 REBS | 4 BLKS
The ONLY players in NBA History to record this in their 1st or 2nd NBA game:
Shaq, DRob, Bill Walton, Mutombo, Sampson, Mychal T, KAT, and Chet.
All of these players played >30 mins.
Trayce played THIRTEEN.
@robcolletti @az_sox @WaddleandSilvy Jram overreacted when Anderson threw down his glove and put his fists up? Anderson is the one who escalated it to a fight
@jonlajoiecomedy Was watching terminator/t2 the other day and heard a quote in the movie— “wolfy’s just fine” and I was like oh that’s the eponym for Jon’s band
@Tim_NBA obviously projecting players is an art not a science, and there needs to a combo of analytic driven data with having watched a player over the course of the year.
You are much more knowledgeable about the analytics, I'm speaking solely as a diehard IU fan who watched every game
@Tim_NBA Galloway would a little, mostly when JHS was on the bench, but IU's offense was primarily PnR or get it in deep to TJD in the post, and if the double comes, hed pass it out, and if no double he'd go to the bucket.
JHS definitely took some bad shots, but he was a true freshman
@Tim_NBA I cant speak to his HS play, but he's shown enough promise that I expect him to take a jump in that ability.
I also do think the spacing disproportionately affected him. Aside from when TJD coast to coast's he was virtually the only one on the team to regularly drive to the rim
@Tim_NBA Jalen was not supposed to be the primary ball handler but was forced into the role due to Johnson's season ending injury.
IU also clogged the paint a lot with TJD, Thompson, and Reneau, leading there to be less room to maneuver to the cup. I'm confident in his finishing ability
@ProFootballTalk Well given he is just Brett veachs drinking buddy and doesn’t actually coach, it should be smooth since Reid didn’t change anything and would never give shitty Nagy any real power or authority
