Psgs who alight @ back entry r fleeced upto Rs 500 to ferry them nr the VB PFs. Rly/RPF/GRP not avbl to help ppl @NewIndianXpress @drmsbc @RailMinIndia

Dear politicians of all parties,
Commuters in #Bengaluru really do not care if the State govt or Central govt is responsible for the fare hike. Just get your heads together for once and work at reducing the hike. 70 percent hike, even for a few stretches, is JUST not acceptable. Just reduce it for now and may be increase it gradually in phases.
Garment workers, vendors, workers on daily wages, clerks and admin staff in offices, 1000s of poor school & college students...all of them use Metro. Wake up. Your assumption that the IT crowd can easily manage the hike is ridiculous. Ppl of all professiona and varying income levels reside in my City

Dear friends, some good news!

I won the 2024 ISG-IJG National Prize - Best Paper Award from the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and Indian Journal of Gastroenterology (IJG) for our basic science paper published in 2022, on the gut microbiome and its association with clinical events in patients with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis.

This is the second time my group has won this award.

The first one, given in 2020, was given for our seminal and pathbreaking, foremost work done in 2018, on Ayurvedic medicines and liver injury.

Our DrNB Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellows received the award on my behalf at the 2024 ISG Annual Meeting at Varanasi this week.

I am glad to see our hardwork bear fruit and be recognized, and for the fantastic clinical and research team that I have the pleasure to work with.

Revival of the HAL airport is badly needed. The way air traffic is booming we will need several airports. The only thing is traffic on the Old Airport Road will have to be managed properly. Like everywhere else in the city it’s quite chaotic here.
