साल 2026 में देश की आर्थिक राजधानी Mumbai में रहने वाले हजारों केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों के मन में एक ही सवाल है — क्या हम अपने परिवारों के साथ सुरक्षित हैं?

एशिया की सबसे बड़ी सेंट्रल गवर्नमेंट रेजिडेंशियल कॉलोनी, जहाँ देश के 100 से अधिक केंद्रीय सरकारी विभागों के लगभग 3500 अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी रहते हैं, लंबे समय से गंभीर सुरक्षा समस्याओं का सामना कर रही है।

कॉलोनी के आसपास अनधिकृत आवाजाही, नशे से जुड़ी गतिविधियाँ, असामाजिक तत्वों की मौजूदगी, चोरी एवं महिलाओं और बच्चों की सुरक्षा को लेकर लगातार चिंता बनी हुई है। इसी कारण Central Public Works Department द्वारा “मद्रासी मार्केट गली” जैसे अनधिकृत रास्तों को बंद करने हेतु विधिवत टेंडर प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत करने की कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

लेकिन दुख की बात यह है कि जब यह सुरक्षा संबंधी कार्य किया जा रहा था, तब सायन-कोलीवाड़ा के विधायक R Tamil Selvan मौके पर पहुँचकर इसका विरोध करते दिखाई दिए। इस घटना के वीडियो भी सामने आए हैं।

हम केवल इतना पूछना चाहते हैं —
क्या केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों और उनके परिवारों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना गलत है?

क्या सरकारी कॉलोनी को सुरक्षित बनाना राजनीति से ऊपर नहीं होना चाहिए?

क्या 2026 में भी केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों को अपने परिवारों की सुरक्षा के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ेगा?

यह किसी राजनीति का विषय नहीं, बल्कि हजारों कर्मचारियों और उनके परिवारों की सुरक्षा और भविष्य का सवाल है।

In 2026, thousands of Central Government employees living in Mumbai have one common question — are we truly safe with our families?

Asia’s largest Central Government residential colony, where around 3,500 officers and employees from more than 100 Central Government departments reside, has been facing serious security concerns for a long time.

Residents have continuously raised concerns regarding unauthorized movement, drug-related activities, anti-social elements, theft, and the safety of women and children. Keeping these concerns in mind, Central Public Works Department initiated a proper tender process to close unauthorized entry points such as the “Madrasi Market Gali” and strengthen the colony’s security arrangements.

However, it is unfortunate that during this security-related action, R Tamil Selvan was seen opposing the move at the site. Videos related to the incident have also surfaced.

We only wish to ask —
Is ensuring the safety of Central Government employees and their families wrong?

Should securing a Government residential colony not be above politics?

Will Central Government employees still have to struggle for the safety of their families even in 2026?

This is not about politics; it is about the safety and future of thousands of employees and their families.
