I'm making it my mission to clean the web.
It started with https://t.co/dftOatQ5Z6 when 8 of the top 10 links on Google were paywalled when I was doing COVID research at the beginning of the pandemic. Unbelievable.
But i'm not done
@chronicly_illin I appreciate that, the best thing you can do to support the effort is to sign up at https://t.co/RYIOhf5mIb
My plan is to build out many such tools to help users of the internet to take back control
π’ 12ft is now on iOS!
Ever scrolling through Twitter on the can, see a link to an article and immediately get hit with popups and paywalls?
https://t.co/tox3XjtZfa lets you easily get to a clean version of the site with no ads, emails captures, or paywalls.
@mikesmith145@LukeEdwardsTele FWIW, if you did want to dig in, https://t.co/KSGuciAtoK can help remove popups, ads, and paywalls and get you straight to the content.

@mkramer Absolutely, it's a complex issue and a bad business model. We're just trying to help people get access to crucial information for their health and civic responsibilities. One day we hope that can solve this in a better way
@mkramer https://t.co/fwXFE8gF5s can help remove some of the paywalls if you don't find luck anywhere else.
We had the same frustration with COVID research so we built this
@waffletothesean @SaraMojtehedz@TorontoStar No problem, enjoy!
We're working on a Chrome extension / iOS shortcuts + much more to make this better over time. Check back, we'll be posting feature updates on Twitter
@heyyjohann@Lexialex We also built https://t.co/KSGuciAtoK to help for other sites where the "reader" trick doesn't work / for Android users.
Just add https://t.co/pQ7JzVQYvX to the front of any URL and it'll do it's best to remove popups, email captures, and paywalls
@AdaminChicago 12ft can help get around some paywalls for those important articles
We had the same frustration in doing research about COVID, so we built https://t.co/KSGuciAtoK to help
