This Bitcoin rally has almost nothing to do with Bitcoin
Bitcoin (BTC) is climbing again—but not because of any fresh development tied to the leading cryptocurrency or its underlying network. Instead, external forces are pulling attention back to this versatile asset class.
In short, bitcoin is once again in the right place at the right time. That means BTC remains a free-floating fixture in the minds of many retail and institutional investors (though not too many) as a scarce, multi-purpose asset. It can be “digital gold,” a hedge against currency inflation, a portfolio diversifier, or simply a speculative bet.
