@icarindia @ivri_1889 @ChouhanShivraj @dare_goi @CimmytMl #increasestipendforIVRI

₹3,000/month isn’t a stipend—it’s a struggle.
We study, serve, and sacrifice for years to become veterinarians.

Is our मेहनत worth only ₹100 a day?
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for dignity, fairness, and justice.

IVRI interns receive just ₹1500/month despite multiple official requests for a hike. While VCI mandates TA/DA for externships, we bear all travel & living costs ourselves. Fair pay for vet interns now!

Rs.1500/month.
Not enough to cover basic living expenses.
Not enough to cover mess expenses.
Not enough to support a student posted away from home.
Veterinary interns are not free labour.

Years of veterinary education;NEET;years of practical training and finally a 6-month compulsory internship-with 24×7 duties
All for a ₹1500/month stipend?
We demand only a fair ₹25,000/month stipend.
