@LouStagner Diving in soccer will never end because of advantage rules. You have to go down to indicate to the ref that you want the call. The whistle doesn’t blow unless you go down.
@SamMonsonNFL@JeffRatcliffe I do wish there was a way to avoid offsides in cases like Croatia’s final goal. I’m not sure how you avoid being offside on that.
@SamMonsonNFL@JeffRatcliffe Your point stands though, the goal of the rule is not what people think and ultimately is still in the spirit of the original rules.
@SamMonsonNFL@JeffRatcliffe I read up on this a lot last night and so I’m not an expert but learned a lot. And I disagree that the rule was made to stop goal hanging, the rule was even more stringent, you literally could not pass the ball forward to a player between your goal and the ball. Think rugby.
@AtriotLvp@LouStagner That’s true. The solution of making every hole longer AND straighter doesn’t seem to be producing the intended result of making everyone curve the ball more? I wonder why?
@danclayt0n It would probably curb tanking, but it guarantees 2 of the worst 6 teams end up outside of the top 12 picks. Makes it hard to give fans hope.
@LouStagner I keep a tournament and non-tournament index. I’m only playing low level local amateur events with no crowd and my tournament index is 4 shots higher than my casual rounds.
@MatthewBerryTMR@DKSportsbook I know I should probably just watch the pre game and you are obviously busy but I do wish these came out before the game starts so I could follow if I wanted.
