غضب الله عليهم وعلي ذرياتهم وذلك يوم بكت عليه جميع بقاع الارض خلا بقعة الشام فمن صامه او تبرك به حشره الله مع ال زياد ممسوخ القلب مسخوط عليه ومن ادخر الي منزله ذخيرة اعقبه الله تعالي نفاقا في قلبه الي يوم يلقاه وانتزع البركة عنه وعن اهل بيته وولده وشاركه الشيطان في جميع ذلك

عن ابان عن عبد الملك قال سالت ابا عبد الله (عليه السلام) عن صوم تاسوعاء وعاشوراء من شهر المحرم فقال تاسوعاء يوم حوصر فيه الحسين (عليه السلام)

ثم قال واما يوم عاشوراء فيوم اصيب فيه الحسين (عليه السلام) صريعا بين اصحابه واصحابه صرعي حوله عراة ا فصوم يكون في ذلك اليوم كلا ورب البيت الحرام ما هو يوم صوم وما هو الا يوم حزن ومصيبة دخلت علي اهل السماء واهل الارض وجميع المءمنين ويوم فرح وسرور لابن مرجانة وال زياد واهل الشام

For whom the day of Ashura is a day of grief, sorrow and crying, Allah, Mighty and Exalted, will make the Day of Resurrection a day of joy and happiness for him ~ Imam Reza (as)

الإمامُ الرِّضا (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ): مَن كانَ يَومُ عاشوراءَ يَومَ مُصيبَتِهِ وحُزنِهِ وبُكائهِ ، يَجعَلِ اللّهُ عزَّوجلَّ يَومَ القِيامَةِ يَومَ فَرَحِهِ وسُرورِهِ.

Whoever recites a single verse of poetry about al-Husayn (as), crying as a result and making ten other people cry, becomes deserving of Paradise and so do they ~ Imam Sadiq (as)

@Sayeda_Seham Monday is the day the Prophet (sawa) died and not considered blessed. There aren't strong Shia traditions emphasising fasting on Mondays

Ja'far ibn Isa, told us: I asked Imam Reza (as) about fasting on the day of 'Ashura and what people say about it. He asked me about fasting on the day of Ibn Marjana, may God curse him. Only the claimants from the family of Ziyad fasted on the day that Husayn (as)

while the family of Muhammad (sawa) considered it a day of ill omen. Anyone who fasts and blesses these two days will meet God with a wiped heart, and his resurrection will be with those who fast and bless these two days.

and nothing struck the family of Muhammad (sawa) except on a Monday, so we consider it ill-omened, and our enemies consider it blessed. On the day of 'Ashura, Husayn (as) was killed, and Ibn Marjana took it as a day of blessings,
