Our son is packing up and headed back to his place in the Twin Cities, and then flying out tomorrow for his next ski races in Alaska.
Books he’s packing for his trip: Bible, Luther’s Small Catechism, Christ Key (@birdchadlouis) and Vocation (Mike Berg). @1517
Oh. My. Word. ❤️
@SlatsChris@birdchadlouis Thank you! I hope this is a helpful answer, as we have only recently begun distributing in the UK. Unveiling Mercy is available on Amazon UK and World of Books, and it will soon be available from other retailers, such as Waterstones.
The faithfulness of God grounds me when I feel weak or overwhelmed. So many situations are above me. I can’t fix everything.
But the faithfulness of God roots me right back in the true reality of all the situations.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but as a mother of 6 children, we have sin at our house too. We homeschool, but homeschooling doesn’t fix sin either. Big families are cool, but we have our own unique struggles just like other families.
Christ is literally still the answer.
I am deeply grateful for this endorsement from John Pless. We are 12 days from the release of Limping with God. You can preorder it in all formats: hardcover, paperback, Kindle, and audiobook (read by myself). @1517@1517Publishing

"Following Jesus, we gimp our way down the dark and slippery paths of life. As we do, we discover, ironically, that the longer we follow him, the weaker we become, and the more we lean on our Lord." -@birdchadlouis

Is Limping with God about Jacob? Yes. Is it about discipleship? Yes. But ultimately it's a book about the Lord who worked in Jacob's life, and who works in our own lives, to bring that bright hope of life to us all in himself. https://t.co/4LfbumKTP9
