Timberwolves have a good test this next week. The grind of the season starts early:

Lonzo becoming a core part of Wolves twitter is a welcome development

Joan Beringer: "I love playing with Ayo. He’s like a big brother for me. He pushes me every time. When I don’t play well, he’s going to say, ‘Yeah, you, wake up. You have to wake up.’ I love this type of energy, push me when I’m not the best version of myself. I love that."

Game 1… Wolves W by 25 at Heat.
Game 2… Wolves W by 22 at Magic.

This team is terrifying.

[Benzo @158Wolves]

@kawhi_ring MIN... I didn't think we'd be smacking teams, even on off nights. Who do you think has been most surprising?

[GUCCE @gucceCU]

Kevin Garnett speaks on Anthony Edwards’ statement that he made to the league:

“He’s giving off MVP energy, early. He’s giving off we can win it early energy.”💯

Jonathan Kuminga says Joan Beringer inspires the rest of the Timberwolves:

"[Joan] wants it, he really really wants it… I watch him every day, how hard he push himself and today he was benching 110 pounds and he wanted to do 120 and we had to tell him no... He's a good person, he's a good kid. He inspires the rest of us, even if we're a little bit older than him... The sky's the limit [for him]. He's somebody who really wants it."

@BBallGround Ppl man lol, you get him on the roster first & see how it works then you can make a trade for a big with someone who's spot or number he might take 😉

[Basketball Ground @BBallGround]

The Minnesota Timberwolves are INTERESTED in signing Dalton Knecht to a two-way contract after the former Los Angeles Lakers guard cleared waivers, according to The Consensus NBA. 👀🔥

Knecht is currently an unrestricted free agent.

Gilbert Arenas says Anthony Edwards is the best American basketball player in the NBA:

“I’ll go Ant, Cade, Brunson. 4th quarter, Brunson, Ant, Cade. He’s the most gifted. He will be the best player in the league. You know why he gets to show this year? Because you can’t preload on him. You can’t sit here and sit someone here and sit someone there and force him to shoot jump shots all day, right? And you pretend that you’re stopping him when you’re using the whole team to stop him.”

[SLAM @SLAMonline]

The pack just got supercharged, and the most electric backcourt in the game has the top of the league in its sights. The show is just getting started as Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball star on SLAM 265.
