@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 I actually don't hold loyalty to any single party. I'm well aware of the rules around EU membership eligibility. If Canda is granted the same status as existing members, by literally breaking the rules, it will cause major problems for the bloc.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 He was responding to you in relation to OP's post. Like I said before, you think you are smart because you repeat the same verbage and try so hard to talk people in circles. You're not nearly as smart as you think you are, and it's very apparent.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 Lol alright, lets wait and see when it goes to parliament. I can gaurantee you that this agreement will be entirely different than a full EU membership. It's too bad we can't bet on this, because I am extremely confident that I will be right.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 You're entire argument is that these agreements could be similar and we don't know yet - but Canada is not eligible for EU membership for various reasons. Thus any other agreement would have different parameters. I've maintained the same point.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 OP's post was literally about Iceland voting no to join the EU. They already have all the benefits of the EU without the responsibility. If Canada was offered similar, it would be great for our economy.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 I'm not evading absolutely anything. You just want to fight - you think you are "bringing back critical thinking", when in reality you think in black and white. You lack the depth to understand why Canada will NEVER hold true EU status.
@ched39755598@goingtogetugly@StaceyMonette27 You don't need any other arguments when the facts speak for themselves. You're the one who doesn't have a counter argument. You must be a 30 year old man living in your moms basement.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 Using your logic, what are the steps for Canada to have EU membership? Because you claim that it is entirely possible at this point in time - or else you would not be debating this.
@StaceyMonette27@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama Funny how you think being chronically online, spending your days reposting and gathering a following of likeminded grifters is somehow something to be proud of.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 When did I say I knew the contents of the new agreement?
It is not possible for the EU to offer Canada an agreement that is even remotely close to full membership without all the existing countries protesting as they didn't get to rewite the rules too.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 Did I say I knew the contents of the new agreement? No, not once - as you can confirm.
Do I know that Canada does not and will not meet the requirements for full EU membership (which is what we are even debating)? Yes, with certainty.
@MidKnightKurama@goingtogetugly@StaceyMonette27 You're wasting your time sharing facts and sources. @goingtogetugly just wants to fight. It will never be possible for Canada to be a full member, or sign an agreement even remotely close to full membership. The info is easy enough to seach.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 That's laughable. You want a debate where there really isn't one to be had. It is legally impossible for Canada to meet the requirements for a full membership. Any agreement with Canada will be inherently different. Ask grok if you want.
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 What exaclty are we supposed to address here? That these memberships could possibly be similar - when legally that could never happen without canada rewriting it's consitution?
@goingtogetugly@MidKnightKurama@StaceyMonette27 Like I said in my other comment, look up the rules around full EU membership. A simple google or chatgpt search will tell you that Canada could never fit the requirements for a full membership. We would have to change how the entire country operates.
@ched39755598@goingtogetugly@StaceyMonette27 I love when someone does not have a rebuttle to a sound arugement so they comment "bot".. You could've just said you're stupid instead.
@goingtogetugly@ched39755598@StaceyMonette27 A simple google search will show you why we cannot be full members.. and why this agreement will have many differences from a full memberships. We would have to rewrite our constitution to fit the requirements.
