"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3: 36
@rachelgirlsheep You’re still missing it. You want the gvrnmnt to not have the authority God gave it. Now you want to sit at home and pray for people to get saved. Lady get off your EZ Chair and fulfill The Great Commission. Witness to those around you. Western Christianity is anemic.
@rachelgirlsheep The purpose of government is to curtail crime. Christians should not interfere because we are called to love, but the government bears the sword according to the Bible.
@_Zeets It’s the government not Christians although government has been given the authority to do that. Maybe if they did it regularly criminals with think twice before committing crimes.
@JamieBonkiewicz I used to think that way but the Bible makes it clear that government has been given that right by God. No Christian should be involved but evil doers need to be punished.
@prairiehsewife Adult kids often forget how difficult they were as children and then get upset when parents reciprocate. Extend grace. That lady changed your diaper when you were smeared with poop.
@MelindaAkowski@annamlulis You sure about that?
"My Kingdom is not of this world" - Jesus
"Our citizenship is in heaven" - Paul
"We are aliens, strangers, and pilgrims" - Peter
"Here we have no city, but we await the city of God" - Hebrews
Do you need more?
@annamlulis My faith has absolutely NOTHING to do with politics. The world didn't give it to me, and the world can't take it away. I'm sorry he felt this way, but he was as wrong as a person could be.
@FilipposTheReal@MikeWingerii The very fact that governments are corrupt should be a secondary deterrent (after having good morals) to keep someone from committing a crime that would lead to the DP.
A pregnant woman on death row can't be executed until her baby is born because the law recognizes her preborn child is innocent.
So why is abortion legal?
