@Avis A brand-new 2026 Yukon Denali SHUT OFF while driving 70 mph through the Arizona desert, leaving us stranded for 4 HOURS. After 1.5 hours on the phone, Avis couldn’t provide transportation. We had to arrange a $265 taxi ourselves. A serious safety failure.

@Avis As an @Avis Preferred member, I’m shocked by the lack of accountability, especially after such a dangerous incident. A $309 partial refund is unacceptable when we were left stranded and forced to cover additional expenses ourselves. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE REACH OUT TO ME TO RESOLVE.

@Avis To make matters worse, @Avis PROMISED a replacement vehicle would be delivered the next morning, then refused. They claimed no cars were available, yet I found and booked one myself at another Avis location. We lost nearly 2 days of a 5-day vacation dealing with this.

Nothing like @Delta completely fucking you over by lying that the delay was weather when we all know it was due to staff shortage & mechanical issues. We were stuck on the plane at EWR for 5 hrs…. now sitting in ATL overnight bc we missed our international connection. #merryxmas
