@16au122 you scan each bin and med bottle before you put the med in so it's fairly controlled! still, human error happens! #hsop2016

I love the idea of the ATM dispensing machines for when a pharmacy is closed, but maybe only for non-controls? #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au115 until you get over zealous and count too fast and have to start all over :( #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au077 the one at mine kept needing to be refilled and beeped at you until you fixed the problem. #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au076 Yes! I always felt like I annoyed the Pharm D. having to ask what they thought the refill actually was #hsop2016

My CVS had a Kirby. It was great for counting 90+. Except, you can't count Lovaza. Anyone else have one? #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au003 I have too! Our robot could fill 6 rx's at a time, then once you pulled on off, more would start. It was super helpful! #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au105 I agree that collection receptacles will be safer, but the mail back programs will be more convenient for patients. #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@egt0004 @16au140 @16au046 Some docs are old school so I'm sure there will still be some unclear rx's nxt yr. Hopefully much less! #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au071 @16au058 It is concerning! Did ya'll override z-packs and benzonatate too? #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au088 same here! I had to call two doctor's offices during rotations to clarify what they wrote. #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au065 While our robot helped techs spend less time filling, they didn't free up the pharmacist from the time spent verifying. #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au091 @16au070 I loved having the robot at CVS, but it definitely had issues (labels getting stuck, undercounting, etc). #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au077 @16au027 SEIB pharmacy in Montgomery had one too. I was surprised since they are a fairly small volume setting. #hsop2016

[16au013 @16au013]

@16au144 I had no clue! I also found the Katrina Health website to be an innovative way for HCPs to problem solve together. #hsop2016

The most interesting part of Management this semester was learning about the SHIP program and getting to volunteer #HSOP2016

I shadowed at a hospital where they used a robot to fill TPNs #HSOP2016
