I invite everyone to make this coming 2nd March, Ash Wednesday, a Day of Fasting for Peace: let believers dedicate themselves intensively to prayer and fasting. May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from the madness of war.
With the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, many seemed to be implying that, because minorities have been treated unfairly by the justice system, Kyle should also be treated unfairly. How is that reasonable?
@DevinMBilski I thought the same at first. But when you take ivermectin, you know you need something. You don’t know whether you’ll end up needing the vaccine. And ivermectin seems to work
I think one reason Republicans are so quick to abandon their limited government values is that they don’t have a strategy too reduce government and are too busy playing defense against the left.
@GibsonWrites Definitely had fewer TLMs in the diocese even just 2 years ago. I know many young people who first learned about and experienced the TLM within the last couple years.
@GibsonWrites We now have 10 churches which sometimes offer the TLM in my diocese. But almost all in the city — almost none in suburbs, people still have to drive a ways. There would certainly be suburbanites who would attend if they knew of it and had one closer
@GibsonWrites Anecdotally, I have found a lot more young people and kids at Latin Mass than mainstream parishes. If there are so few trads, why is there such great concern? And why do you claim Rome treated us so amazingly?
@GibsonWrites Question: Do you realize that those attached to the 1962 Missal don’t simply want a Mass in Latin? Calling it the “Latin Mass” is just shorthand. We want the Tridentine Mass, not just the Novus Ordo in Latin
@PapistJP I think it’s clear that the worst (e.g. most biased, leftist, and garbage-thought producing) parts of universities are the ones who’s degrees are “useless” and don’t make much money
@PapistJP People don’t generally do things that cost money, take 4 years, and make them unable to have a full time job during those years unless they are have some sort of value as an investment, or unless the person doing so is just rich
