THERE is the countryside between Oxford & Didcot
THIS is my wine aboard a @GWRHelp class 800 express train
THREE CHEERS to Brunel
THANK YOU volunteers, staff & @DidcotRailwayC friends who made @175Oxf a roaring success.
#TravelByTrain — #oxford175 edition.
An architectural DELIGHT! Culham station old ticket office. Re-opened specially for @175Oxf#oxford175 today by volunteers, just south of Oxford. Beautifully restored by @networkrail with a @RailwayHeritage grant. And @HistoricEngland grade II* listed. My rating: LOVELY.
@HenryWellsbourn @MrTimDunn@Vintage_Trains@GWRHelp That's a split platform. Trains used to stop at the closer one, but now all stop and the on further away.
The magic of main line steam!
It’s @Vintage_Trains Clun Castle trip zooming through a busy @GWRHelp Culham station - past Brunel’s original ticket office - in celebration of today’s @175Oxf
"@175Oxf" THE day begins! Celebrating 175 years of the railways arriving in #Oxford.
