Wouldn’t surprise me at all if TOKEN2049 ends up lighting the fuse for a full-blown $BTC + $ETH rally
Tom Lee making the case on the main stage certainly won’t hurt
Sadly, I won’t make Singapore this year
2027, no excuses

The endgame may look surprisingly ordinary: people investing, sending money and paying for services without thinking about Ethereum.
One day, it may simply be called finance.
That is the $ETH opportunity I see. Big enough to do the homework. Risky enough to actually do it.
You’ve read my case. Now test it.
YOUR DD. YOUR MONEY

First, the visionaries see it.
Apparently, they’re crazy.
Then companies build businesses around it.
Apparently, they’re innovative.
Then ordinary people use it.
Apparently, everybody saw it coming.
That’s the adoption story I’m watching in $ETH
People don’t wake up wanting a blockchain. They want their money to move, their investments to work and fewer middlemen taking a bite.
The companies delivering that experience could bring Ethereum into their lives before they ever learn its name.
My thesis is that institutional adoption is building the bridge to that stage.
$BMNR latest presentation helps connect the pieces.
Today issue.... who’s accumulating, who’s building and where demand could come from next, including customers that aren’t human.
By the time your neighbour says “now I get it” the market may have sent a revised invoice.
Several of you asked for more $ETH
As if I needed an excuse….
Tomorrow, 7am NY. DecodeMarkets Morning Call goes all in on Ethereum.
I think a breakout could be close. I’d rather explain the thesis before the God candle. Easier to concentrate while everyone’s still bored.
Why I see one of today’s biggest asymmetric opportunities, drawing on $BMNR presentation published on the SEC website.
Send this to that friend who needs a higher price to feel safer.
See you here ☕️
But the USD is strong (they say)
Strong against what?
USD can look strong simply because the other currencies look worse
Meanwhile every single commodity is getting more expensive in dollar terms.
That’s the part people miss:
Strong FX ≠ strong money
Your purchasing power doesn’t care about DXY
Can't stop watching at this chart
Back in March/April 2026 crypto sentiment was ugly: only 28–30% bullish, with roughly one-third bearish.
Then came the May/June pain.
Fast forward to September and the picture has completely flipped:
79% bullish
17% neutral
Just 4% bearish
Same thermometer. Opposite reading.
Not a trading model. Not a guarantee.
But if sentiment is leading price again by a month or two, Q4 could get very interesting.
And October just started
Got $ETH?

Being contrarian isn’t buying whatever everyone hates.
It’s finding what could change their minds and whether the price leaves you room to be wrong.
Being early can pay.
Being wrong and calling it early gets expensive.
That’s what this Morning Call is here to help you work through.
If it helped with your DD, please share it.
Your money. Your decisions. Better questions over coffee.

September left some bodies behind.
Today, I’m checking which ones still have a pulse.
Seven picks from the S&P 500 20 biggest September losers, plus $NKE, $BABA + $OKLO
Ten beaten-up names. Some may be bargains. Others may just be terrible investments at a lower price.
My job is to find what could bring them back and what could finish them off.
Then we get to $ETH still the most compelling upside asymmetry on my radar. If it can absorb this much bad news, even modest relief could get very interesting.
Come for the casualties. Stay for the comeback cases.
Two rules:
1) Falling prices earn an inspection, not a place in the portfolio.
2) This is a starting point for YOUR DD. It’s YOUR MONEY...
Uptober starts tomorrow
@fundstrat says the bears have all but disappeared
79% bullish
4% bearish
Now imagine what happens when price starts confirming the sentiment...
Got $ETH?
Same candles
Same boredom
Same refusal to break.
Maybe it’s Uptober.
Maybe it’s rates.
Maybe geopolitics finally cools off.
Maybe the market simply ran out of bad news to sell.
I only care about one thing
$ETH keeps absorbing every punch
When something has every excuse to go down… and simply refuses to, I start looking the other way.
The quiet part before the vertical part?
Got $ETH? 👀

Good morning. The headlines keep giving the market reasons to panic. The market has been rather uncooperative.
Starting today, every morning at 7 a.m. New York time.
The idea: connect what’s happening to what you own — and what might be worth owning next.
Who actually makes the money? How much optimism is already in the price? What needs to happen for the investment to work? And what evidence would make us change our minds?
I’ll bring ideas, connections, and evidence to help with your own due diligence (DD) — not just on your next investment, but also on the positions you already love. Especially those.
Because a good story is not an investment thesis. And a rising price is not DD.
The goal isn’t to have an opinion on everything. It’s to spot what deserves your attention before it deserves your capital.
Today: patience at the Fed, AI writing its own guardrails, and nuclear businesses that could invoice before a reactor switches on.
Let’s get to work
10/10
A great theme can still be a lousy investment. Price, financing and timing get a vote too.
That’s the due diligence we’ll keep doing here: who gets paid, what needs to go right, and what would make us change our minds.
If this helped you think through your own portfolio, please share it. I’d appreciate it.
Back tomorrow, 7 a.m. New York.
