@BenFordhamLive I’m teacher in a decent middle class school. I recently surveyed my Year 12s and asked if any were planning on moving out with friends after school for uni/work/bachelor pad etc…. Not a single student out of 120 said they were. I re-surveyed them- 98% answered “too expensive”

@BenFordhamLive I’ve lived on the Gold Coast for 20 years. For 17 of those, friends only ever left for a promotion in their jobs. The last three years, 13 families I know have moved to regional Aus because they can’t afford life here anymore. Families pulled apart and people are 😡
