This will probably be my final tweet. I’m back in Lisbon now! I think I’m going to write a letter to my friend Lorenzo Medici about the “New World.” Maybe he will share my findings with the rest of the world. #nervous
HUGE UPDATE!!!!
While we were there I noticed that we might not actually be in India like we thought. Based on my immense knowledge of maps, I think the place we say is India is a whole new continent. #craazzyy#iwonderifimright

Once some of our colonists get there maybe the natives will switch to Christianity. Let’s just pray that the colonists who end up there are able to make the natives more civilized. #prayingthatthenexttimeigotheretheyhaveclotheson
While looking back on my voyage the natives still manage to confuse me. All of the natives I encountered on my journey had strange cultures. I still can’t comprehend how a group of people can live without a religion to hold them together.

Since I discovered new land, I think all of the people back in Portugal will be very happy. Now the king has more land and people can begin to move there. #imawesome#woohoo
We have started our journey back to Portugal. I’m not sure if I should be excited or not. I really loved it in that tropical paradise. However, it’s always nice going home knowing you accomplished a lot.

We managed to find new land and document all of the wildlife and people here for the king. Hopefully I will get to go on another voyage soon! #itwasasuccess
It has been a few months since my last update, and nothing too exciting has happened. I think we will have to head back to Portugal soon. #iwillmissithere
The natives in the tribes we have seen here all look at US oddly. They seem confused by our clothes, facial hair, and the color of our skin. Which is what we were thinking about them. #youaretheweirdones#itsnotmyfaultimcivilizedandyourenot

BIG UPDATE GUYS!!!! We finally discovered new “unclaimed” land! There are a few tribes here, but they seem friendly enough. I decided to name it Cidade de São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro or the City of St. Sebastian of Rio de Janeiro.
The constellations here are not the same as the ones back home. I have never seen any of them before. How is that possible you ask? https://t.co/zGDMdXNobZ.clue. It has been bothering me for awhile now. How can constellations change? #how

There are nice rocky cliffs that make the perfect selfie background, if I do say so myself. There is also nice tall trees the further you venture. #selfieatthebeachwithmaboys
