At Jardines Lookout PBJLO2 is concreted shut to 'protect it'. Part of the Site of a 16 hour Battle, the relic is left to return to nature.Used the 1938 Japanese Konishiroku Semi Pearl, time appropriate again light leaks and all! Fujicolor Pro 400H film.

19th December 1941 a 16hour Battle ended with the Japanese overtaking the British Posts at Jardines Lookout. JLO1 Pillbox is concreted shut to 'protect' it.Tried a 1938 Japanese Konishiroku Semi Pearl camera. Time approriate! with light leaks! Fujicolor Pro 400H film.

Famous Insta spot Cape Collinson North and south batteries were built in 1938 and ordered destroyed as the British pulled out. Daily overun with hikers and IG stars, one has full collapse and the other will face the same fate within years.

18 Day Battle of HK Shing Mun Redoubt, part of the 'Gin Drinkers Line' fortifications known as the Oriental Maginot Line. The enemy now is the elements; litchen,trees and shifting earth and animals.
