I not only looked at particles but helped the Americans during the cold war! I gave the U.S. "a big lead in scientific achievement." They called me "a key figure in the cold war’s competition and gave the US the edge
So basically I'm flexing with all these awards, I not only won high-level award but I had many things such as the Van Allen belt and many probes named after me, what is cooler than that.
Sorry another #tbt In 1989, I received the Crafoord Prize presented by the King of Sweden. The Crafoord Prize is the highest award the Academy can give for research in a number of scientific fields and, for space exploration, is the equivalent of the Nobel Prize.
NASA renamed the Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP), a mission to study Earth's Van Allen radiation belts, as the Van Allen Probes mission in honor Me! I was a distinguished professor of physics in the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Did you know that in 2013 a team from Dartmouth sent out balloons over the North and South pole to collect information about radiation and find out more about the theory I discovered years ago!
@HuygensLight Yes! Particles interact in our solar system through solar winds and the magnetic fields of each planet. This is simply how I discovered the two radiation belts looping around earth.
@HuygensLight Like you, I also studied how particles moved but only in space. About your theory of light, I find it interesting that lights move side to side. In my theory, there are particles moving around earth due to solar winds.
@HuygensLight Wow, I do understand know. I'm surprised you know about flashlights in your time! Your discoveries helped me understand how particles interact with each other!
@SChandrasekhar0 Hey Subrah, I know you are well known for discovering the evolution of stars. I find it interesting how you know so much about how particles move and form new objects. I also looked at how particles moved but to make two invisible radiation belts around eart
@cas5ini Yes, I do enjoy the luxury of the new technology that I have today. Looking at the particles in the solar system as well as the solar winds Took many tools and many years to find out about the radiation belts around our world
@BenjaminBanne10 That is crazy! I am lucky I do not have to suffer through such hate. The fact that it is harder to be recognized as a genius due to your skin color is a sad concept. I myself, acknowledge your accomplishments and respect you highly. #bestofluck
@cas5ini @cas5ini Wow it looks like we both have an interest in space. I looked more at the particle that you can not see but I see that you discovered visible objects such as Saturn's moons. I guess we both like to discover new things.
