@Steve_Sailer After the first rebuilding, when it became a proper arena, it had a moat, but they took it away and the distance between the seats and the sidelines is only six metres, iirc. Very fun experience, though I am biased. This is my football club after all.

@Steve_Sailer My hometown club's stadium's stands don't have the moat anymore since the renovations for the World Cup, the closest seats are only about 20 feet away from the actual play area, if that. Very interesting to go watch games there
