ATU Local 192 proudly endorses @JovankaBeckles, a champion of the working class, for State Senate District 7. She has had our back and now we have hers! ✊🏾 #jovankabecklesforstatesenate#UnionStrong
The Southwest Airlines Pilots union has won a historic contract with a 50% raise over the next five years.
After years of negotiation @swapapilots hammered out this massive agreement, which now goes to the union members for a vote.
This win comes hot on the heels of increasingly large raises won by unions at other major airlines.
Delta pilots won a 34% raise last December.
United pilots won a 40% raise in July.
American Airlines pilots won a 46% raise in August.
Union power is bringing increasingly transformative contracts to workers in the airline industry.
Next up, 26,000 flight attendants at American Airlines have voted to authorize a strike. These workers haven't gotten a raise since 2019, and after seeing the massive raises that pilots are winning 99% voted to authorize their strike and go big.
The flight attendant unions at Southwest, United, and Alaska Airlines are also in contract negotiations right now as they fight for more.
We're in a new era of worker power, in the airline industry and across the country.

CA transit faces a fiscal cliff that, if not solved, will lead to devastating service cuts
Yet, the Governor’s budget proposal slashes transit funding & the proposal advancing in the Legislature is problematic ⬇️
