@codenrl Are nrl player contracts required to be lodged at something resembling market value? I thought that was the case. So the contract value should be similar even if tax free it’s more. So png can’t sign a 900k player for 600k?

@MCarayannis @brentread_7 I think the rules around png is they need to be required to register contracts in Aussie $ at market value. That’s the way to keep them in check in terms of salary cap. So players get the cash but salary cap. You can’t undervalue them.

@RLPlayers I have no issue with elite nrl players getting their share. But minimum wage at 145k already. I hope there is focus on qld and nsw cup players who really need support, and grassroots club and school support. Given nrl supports full game something many overseas sports don’t.
