🇺🇸🇮🇳 Two days ago the U.S. Navy struck the tanker M/T Settebello, believing it was carrying Iranian oil.

The ship's manager says that's wrong. No ties to Iran at all.

The Navy says it issued warnings first, while the manager insists no warning ever got through.

3 Indian crew members are dead. Their families have no answers. And the official military account now has a direct contradiction sitting on top of it.

The ship had been tracked by TankerTrackers and Windward as part of Iran's oil network for at least 5 years, which likely explains why it was targeted.

It still does not explain why the crew got no chance to get out.

This is the first confirmed case of seafarer deaths tied to U.S. sanctions enforcement operations in the Gulf of Oman.
