Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the Downing Street.
One is from London, another is from Birmingham and the third is from Manchester.
All three go with a Downing Street official to examine the fence.
The London contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil.
"Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about £900. £400 for materials, £400 for my crew, and £100 profit for me."
The Birmingham contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says,
"I can do this job for £700. £300 for materials, £300 for my crew, and £100 profit for me."
The Manchester contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the Downing Street official and whispers, "£2,700."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"
The Manchester contractor whispers back, "£1000 for me, £1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Birmingham to fix the fence."
"Done!" replies the government official. And that, my friends, is how our government works.
It may be funny but, sadly, it's also very accurate.
Do you see what’s happening?
Andy Burnham says he will “take back control” by handing control over immigration policy to … the United Nations and “faith groups”.
He says he will “take back control” by refusing to leave the European Convention on Human Rights, which means we cannot control or deport criminals & illegals.
And then he says he will “take back control” by handing control over our economy and country to … the European Union, locking us into policies we cannot influence and institutions that aren’t democratic.
Again: do you see what’s happening?
🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨
Well congratulations to the people of #Makerfield who voted out of the EU,yet voted in the unelected PM Burnham now going to slap us back in the EU. May I suggest a Recall petition on Andy seeing lied to you.

Dear @KemiBadenoch@Nigel_Farage and @RupertLowe10
If you love this country, you will sort these ego battles out and form a united right.
If not, I wonder if this is all about you, not the people.
Conservative. Reform. Restore.
None of them are perfect. There are issues with all 3.
But they are ALL significantly better than another left-wing government. Which is what we'll get if the UK Right fails to work together.
If you love Britain - call for the Right to Unite. 🇬🇧
Burnham speaks better than Starmer, he comes across better than Starmer, he connects with people better than Starmer.
That makes him a lot more dangerous than Starmer.
Let's be honest - we have a real fight on our hands.
This is brilliant - watch UK PM Andy Burnham today at the Labour Conference waiting for the ‘Applause Sound Effect’ to come on.
Everything about this Man & The UK Commie Government is completely fake‼️
Stealing fuel!…
All those out there sucking this up!🤦🏻♂️
Boy have I got my work cut out for when I step up and into the fold of British politics! Challenge accepted.
Fear not people…The wait is almost over! 🫡🇬🇧🏴
This is the hardest and most upsetting video I've watched
But @revwickland is right
I'm 31 years old, I've been brought up to believe that the United Kingdom is the best country in world, its people, culture and everything it has produced in its history. And I still hold on to that despite everything
No Brit should ever endure a level of despair not since since the World War eras, let alone myself at my age. I'm too young to witness my own country crumble right before my eyes. Not a single bullet fired
In fact, not just crumble, but intentionally destroyed. I've fought tooth and nail to fight off the radical thoughts given how grim this situation is. I remember I'm not alone in this
I'm autistic, I have depression. I just wanna cry. But I am holding on as hard as I can. I want my wife and children to be happy, but how can that happen if our country cares more for migrants than the British Christians? This hurts me a lot
I've never been so angry and sad this much in my lifetime
