@HimalyatoA@roaster_042@Indian_Analyzer None of the above things have any thing to do with my assertion that RSS is the most culturally important org in our country. It is because of RSS that we have bjp, vhp, Ram Mandir, demise of left politics, complete annihilation of Muslim appeasement politics.
@india_plus_ It's easy to give opinions when you don't have to shoulder the responsibility of winning elections and forming the govt. Netas who became ministers from Rajya Sabha should avoid giving such impractical gyan.
@HimalyatoA@roaster_042@Indian_Analyzer Uo realise RSS is not just one institution but an umbrella org which has many, many branches. I grew up in a remote village in Arunachal and studied in a RSS affiliate school which taught us about nationalism, gita, and sports. We used to start our classes with saraswati vandana
@ritwikshukla@LalaYSurya What did IITians do for India in the Nehru and post Nehruvian times? Almost the entire batch used to go to the USA to get jobs.. academia-industry partnership flowered after the removal of license raj imposed by Nehru and his childrens
@shruthie_j@npandit@javedhassan The right thing to do is to compare with post colonial democratic countries. The legacy is similar, so is the administrative system.
@Panglosst@RRules6007@fireAnd_Bloodd@FinestYew Indira Gandhi intervened in East Pakistan because India faced a refuge crisis.
India did not have any economic or technological dependency on america. So she had an easier decision making situation.
@Panglosst@RRules6007@fireAnd_Bloodd@FinestYew Indira Gandhi did not fight the USA. She fought pakistan and had to run to the Soviets to get protection from America's nuclear submarines.
She was a brave lady no doubt, but India at the time had nothing to lose from its debilitating relation with USA.
