In the last 7 days I’ve:
-driven to Detroit, MI & back
-sold 2 of my favorite vehicles
-installed a new torque converter in my drag car
-had a car eaten by my dogs
-found a massive rat issue some of the cars
-hired an attorney, went to court for a goofy traffic offense (my license got revoked) & luckily won, getting my license back

& MUCH more! Needless to say, it’s been a stressful week.

Today we honor Topeka Police Officers Bohlender and Howey for their ultimate sacrifice.

Topeka Police Officer’s Charles "Joey" Bohlender and Jeff Howey were killed in a tragic helicopter crash when responding to a burglary on June 13, 2000.

Officer Bohlender had served with TPD for nine years. He was survived by his wife, and three children.

Officer Howey had served with TPD for eight years. He was survived by his wife and two daughters.

We thank Officers Bohlender and Howey for their service, and we honor them and their families for their sacrifice.
