@JawntCoyle Why did he leave land for Pearl?? #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 24: Is Pearl just as crazy as an adult? Would she choose to put an "A" on her clothes since she's grown up associating that with adulthood? #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 24: What do you think was Dimmesdale's cause of death? #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@JawntCoyle This book gave up on realistic timing ages ago; Hawthorne's just going for that harsh nature aesthetic #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 23: well... Dimmesdale got to confess and have acceptance from Pearl... still sad that it was all last minute and in front of the entire town #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 23: Dimmesdale is so determined to finally confess and he won't let anyone else aid him in his quest physically or spiritually; he's got something respectable in him! #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@JawntCoyle I don't think she'd be able to survive, and she has to tell Dimmesdale as well #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 22: that last paragraph beautiful though... Dimmesdale is also physically above Hester but once he confesses he'll probably drop dead as an equal #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 22: Why is Dimmesdale spacing out during the ceremony? Hasn't he been excited about leaving the village without knowing about Chillingworth? He seemed much more proud to quit his job around Hester... #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@ClaireMobed Definitely both; Hester wishes she could have a life with him but she also knows he's looking out for his own reputation #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 21: Actually got disappointed when Chillingworth stalked Hester and Dimmesdale to get on the same boat #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 21: *entire town is out and about* Pearl: now would be a good time to rant about hanging out in the forest with Dimmesdale #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@ClaireMobed Good old American literature and dark romanticism tryina act unpredictable but getting the opposite effect #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 20: When someone knows you're scheming but you still try to act like you don't know what he/she's talking about #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 20: When you're so excited to quit your job it's like you took a five hour energy and leaped out of the nook where you decay all day #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@ClaireMobed Hester felt that putting on the scarlet letter was the only way to get Pearl to calm down. Was there another way? #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 19: When your parents want you to kiss your relatives #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 19: When yo mama looking strangely different #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

@danielleizq Pearl might get crazy confused because she's been told she has no father and she's fine with her current isolated life #FlynnSL

[Anastasia Barrett @19barretta]

Ch. 18: Pearl is like snow white out there but crazy for her moods not for eating a stranger's apple #FlynnSL
