@kayodebakre8 This isn't entirely correct. RUGA's rejection by State Governors gave birth to the NLTP.
Meanwhile, it was a policy designed by international development partners and adopted by PMB at the time.
Cheaper implementation. But it's rejection was primarily due to distrust amongst us.
The quality of education across board in 🇳🇬 is quite absymal. 💔
Forget the quantity of certificates being brandied about, the low level quality of critical thinking pops up every now & then!
We worship money, so anyone that has money should never be questioned or confronted.🥹
A woman hears a knock. When she opens the door, a man asks, “Do you have a vagina?”
She slams the door in disgust.
The next morning, the same man knocks and asks the same question. She slams the door again.
That night, when her husband gets home, she tells him what happened.
In a loving voice, he says, “Honey, I’m taking tomorrow off to be home in case this guy shows up again.”
The next morning they hear a knock and both run to the door. The husband whispers, “Honey, I’ll hide behind the door and listen. If it’s the same guy, answer yes. I want to see where the bastard is going with this.”
She nods and opens the door.
Sure enough, the same man is there and asks, “Do you have a vagina?”
“Yes, I do,” she says.
The man replies, “Good! Would you mind telling your husband to leave my wife’s alone and start using yours?”

Gowon is the only African Head of State from 1975 who’s still alive.
And one of only like 3 in that category in the world - the other 2 actually are still Head of State till now:
King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden (since 1973)
Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah (since 1967)
KAN U believe it??? Arsenal Forever. The Gunners worked so hard for this. Difficult but they fought.
Very well deserved. Come on you gunners #congratulations@arsenal#arsenal
Setting aside the fact that you are ignorant of history and/or most likely an idiot, why didn't Buhari happen this time around to the Lagos intra city rail.
I am guessing, being the idiot that you are, you think Lagos did it with zero help from the federal government of Buhari.
A fantastic communicator, Mrs Adeosun. Impressive understanding of the power of storytelling and numbers. As Minister a decade ago she took comms very seriously and did a great job at it.
A short story.
I remember early 2017, I pitched the idea of a Facebook Live to her. She wasted no time accepting to do it - at a time when Ministers didn’t really do stuff like this. If I recall correctly this was going to be our first FB Live at the Presidency Office of Digital Engagement (PODE), as we were then known.
On the appointed day, April 4, 2017, my team and I packed ourselves and went to the Minister’s Office. I was quite nervous - will the internet not mess us up, etc. I recall her asking, when we stepped into her office, where our cameras were, and I said No cameras M’am, we’re going to use our mobile phones.
Heart beating gbim-gbim-gbim, I started the Live, wholly at the mercy of 2017 Abuja internet. Our interviewee was fantastic, a natural. She spoke (very passionately and knowledgeably as usual), answered the questions. Her excitement about it was really energizing.
After the session, she asked us to play it back, and she patiently watched, impressed by the ‘disintermediation’ she’d just been part of, a senior government official speaking directly to the public and taking questions, outside of traditional media and with no elaborate set up. Remember this was 2017, long before Covid democratized the idea of virtual access by government officials.
It’s a chapter in my comms journey I will never forget.
PS. I have more comms stories about Mrs Adeosun, but if I share everything here, what will I put inside my book?
This team topped the UCL table. They remain the only unbeaten team in the CL. They didn't get to the Finals by accident. They got there by winning games, defending well and being better that all the teams they faced.
To Budapest we go.
Wished Temisan could have seen this 😥
