@nothanksfrankie@LukeTaylorUSA@USAA Dump everything and get your savings reserve account balance back after six months. I got $14k+ back last year. It won’t be too long before they have to freeze those accounts to meet required reserve amounts.
The 4th race at Keeneland today is a two-year-old filly race on the turf. 12 got in the field and 4 AE’s. 25 horses were excluded. The racing secretary didn’t even rewrite the race. If they are going to hold BC in KY, they need to be willing to properly write ordinary races too.
In the 9th race at Keeneland today 9 of the 10 horses had claims in on them (90%)! Three were eventually voided. 25k horses running for $63k purse. The claim values need to be unilaterally increased. Keep raising them until there is an appropriate supply/demand balance.
I feel terrible for any horse owner that gets on the AE list, but today at Keeneland, Riding The Pine seems like the most appropriate name if you are going to be on the AE list.
@EJXD2@keenelandracing Donuts, mmmmmm, now I’m hungry. Interesting data, but too small of sample. Especially for the owners. Had either of them won a single race they would be at 20%.
@TKKuegler My point is claiming used to be about improving horses to make money, not dropping them. It's bad for the horses, and bad for betting. Make the purse the claiming price, or even higher. If you claim a horse, it should be to improve them.
The Weather Channel is so sensational they lose the ability to properly warn folks. At some point people will question everything they say, which is sad.
