@Louiestowell not just comics, but anything they enjoy. i used to be a teaching assistant and was once asked to help a yr 4 boy read these really boring ‘decodable’ books that he had no interest in at all. Imagine how much more engaged he was when i let him choose (non fiction books for him)
@TheFreds@DreyfusJames@PoppyLegion Yes find a local charity. Often the local versions of big charities have their own set up and finances separate from the head office so if I (for example) want to donate to Mind or Parkinson’s uk, I can find the local branch and donate there instead.
@Tonybhoy91@oasis I really don’t understand this view of younger people not deserving oasis tickets. In the 90s, as well as listening to oasis I also listened to the Beatles a lot. If they had been able to play a gig then I would have been desperate for a ticket - probably more so than my mum…
