@Teslaconomics I bought one - Founder's Series - 8 years ago. That $250K, if I'd kept it in Tesla stock, would be $1.5M now. And it looks like the new "reveal" on 4/1 is just an April Fools' joke - certainly truly fooled those of us who believed.
@EdmundSimms@Adam_Creighton Hmm. Inflation cut by two thirds (despite irresponsible fiscal policy) and a possible soft landing. I don’t know if the Fed deserves a standing O, but maybe some credit.
FSD Shimmy alert. Can someone tell me what's going on with the indecisive new version - 14.2.1.25 (Hurry) in a '26 Plaid. Starts to lane change - oops - stops - turn signal - oops no. Happens so often, I'm waiting to get pulled over for DUI - "Officer, it's the car not me!"
@TechOperator Weeeeeellll. Not entirely true. I’m a Tesla fan BUT have had two batteries die. An early 2012 S and a 2014 90SD. Both times Tesla wanted $15k to replace, resulting in one trade-in and one refurbished battery from a California company. One must figure in these costs.
@11W It’s a pass blocking O-line. Much as it’s irksome and non-traditional, we run to establish the pass. Witness the foolhardy run-first debacle against the TUN last year. Bottom line: run some, pass the rest (quite literally).
@niccruzpatane So interesting, but not my experience at all. Great on the highway, but turn lanes - Katie-bar-the-door. Combining navigation and FSD seems to be problematic, perhaps insufficient compute. Dunno. Love FSD, but a work in progress.
@GrindeOptions I'm not sure how anyone can see a short term upside for $TSLA. I love FSD, but it's still a work in progress, several others ahead. Robot - 3 years min. No new models, lagging sales, no tax credit, drill baby drill, etc, etc.
@boolusilan Simple. There's no short term upside for the stock. Elon's magic will take 3-5 years at minimum. Meanwhile the stock will languish on crappy sales and slow progress in the highly competitive FSD space.
@ddale8 It wasn't the lead as much as the decision to slide. With the catcher at the front of the plate there is no reason to slide which clearly slows a runner. Had he simply run through, the Jays win the World Series.
