I used to work at the post office in the Brentwood Country Mart. One day, I was helping a woman with many packages. Out of the blue, I hear a voice yelling at me. I look out the slotted window at this impossibly thin woman in pink pants and jacket that fit so impeccably on her, to the point it was ridiculous. She showed no regard for the other customers in line. She snapped at me again and sighed as if I was the biggest idiot. I couldn’t read her lips and I saw that she was holding a package in her arms. I said something like, I’ll help you after these customers. She snapped again. The woman I was helping finally spoke up and told the lady that I was deaf. That only pissed her off more and she put on her sunglasses and stormed out. Well, that’s my Jane Fonda story and, yes, we should judge people by how they treat others.

To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....... You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Today I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my cart, emptied my cart and scanned the items, refilled my cart and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.
YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.

INSANE 🚨 This surgeon has a patient who needs a “deep flap” surgery. Insurance denied it

To appeal she had to speak to her patients insurance. “I actually asked, do you know what a deep flap is? THE DOCTOR SAID NO.”

The insurance companies deciding if Americans get their procedures DONT EVEN KNOW what the procedures are. How is this okay?!

THIS is the state of American healthcare…

“You may remember I had a patient who needs a deep flap, and the insurance company denied an inpatient stay for her. So I had to schedule a peer to peer call and schedule time out of my day to ask for a conversation directly with someone who is my peer to discuss deep flap surgery and why that patient needed to be overnight.

That call was scheduled for 11AM, and eleven came around 11: 30, 11: 45 and no call still. And then we emailed the insurance company because, of course, they don't give me the call number. They only let me receive the call. So finally at 12: 15, I received the call that was initially scheduled for 11. And the doctor who called me was not a surgeon.

And I actually asked the doctor, do you know what a deep flap is? And the doctor said no. So that's where we are.

My patient has insurance. She's seeing someone who's fellowship trained in microsurgery, me, to do her breast reconstruction, and I'm having to teach another doctor what a deep flap is in order to justify her overnight stay to navigate her insurance.

This is completely ridiculous.”

The @DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants.

Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order.

UnitedHealthcare DID CANCEL THE HOSPITAL STAY and now they’re THREATENING HER, she’s showing the proof

After the day I have experienced today in the care of American Airlines. I am here to tell you @AmericanAir is an absolute shitbag hoe company. Absolutely brutal. I will never ever fly with this dirtbag company ever again. I am canceling our credit cards with them immediately. I was ok with their delay this morning, No problem. But how they treated me after that and bumped me around from flight to flight to flight more delays and took me out of seats that I paid full price for, no! I’ve been traveling for almost 12 hours within my own country of the United States, this is insane. Just going from PHL to Albuquerque. And they just can’t seem to get me there. And they don’t give a crap at all. I never unleash but right now. I’m done. @AmericanAir is 💯 a disgrace!

“WOW okay so the most amazing thing just happened to me and I can’t help but share it with the world. American Airlines instituted a new policy where you have to pay to take a carry-on onto the plane.

Which is ridiculous but off topic.

I consolidate my bags into one and they measure it and say it’s just a little too big. They proceed to charge me $50, except they only take credit card, no cash. Since I just got back from Europe all my cards are being declined as Chase doesn’t know I’m back.

They tell me that I’m going to have to miss the flight and head back to the ticket counter to pay down there. I’m pleading, devastated after a long day of travel. Then, this man walks up and says, “How much is it?” They tell him $50 and he says “I got it.”

I’m astonished and tell him it’s fine not to worry and he hands the lady his card as the American Airlines employees stand in silence shocked by this man’s generosity. They swipe the card and he tells me to have a great flight and hop on board.

I’m crying as I write this and as I board the flight. This man was an angel. I stop him as he’s sitting in first class and try to give him my money but he just shook me off and told me to pay it forward.

My heart is so happy. There are good people in this world.

Be that person for someone because I know after this I sure will be.” 💕

I pay $2,100 a month for health insurance for my family of 3. This doesn't cover dental or vision. $4,800 deductible per individual. While the government gives illegal immigrants FREE HEALTH INSURANCE, which is better than what I pay for. HOW IS THIS FAIR to us CITIZENS? 😡 😤
