It’s official! The very first #SuperNintendoWorld is set to open on Feb. 4th in Osaka, Japan!
I got a first-hand look and can confirm the Mario Kart ride uses AR headsets but is ON RAILS. So no falling off Rainbow Road 🌈 😆

@nohandsnoexcuse I would highly recommend LNS Captioning. I do live captioning work for them as well. They'll call this type of work postproduction on their website, https://t.co/bf2UK6F9WQ. If you need other referrals, just let me know. I know of other companies that do this as well.
Accessibility options is not "cheating" in the game. The idea of accessibility = cheating needs to stop. If people want to use those options to make the game more comfortable to play and not as frustrating, let them. It's not a joke.
Happy 30 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act! There’s still a lot of work to be done for there to be access for all. I would not be a captioner without it in place. Captioning is just a piece of it, but let’s be clear that the ADA benefits everyone.

@DaleCruse How about considering our live captioning services done by Steno captioners, who are more accurate than auto-craptions? Feel free to reach out.
Would you like to participate in a study to help inform the design of VR controllers & games? @primevr2 and the @GDIHub are looking for participants to help shape the development of an accessible VR system. For more information, please visit: https://t.co/pNUisHnsSs
so the Deaf/HoH accessibility settings are also the "can hear but wanna game while on hold for three. friggin. hours." settings, the "can hear but don't want to wake the baby" settings, etc. and that's pretty darn useful/cool
Masks will pose a new challenge for the d/Deaf and hard of hearing in classrooms. Here's some tips from
@hearinglikeme_ on how to navigate that.

Xbox Research is looking for feedback from players who are d/Deaf or Hard of hearing!
Our survey takes about 20-25 minutes (depending on how much you write), and must be completed before Monday, June 29th, 2020. Fill out the survey here: https://t.co/VMx45w7f7f
Happy Juneteenth! I haven't marked the day before. I want to change that going forward. It's significant to me and should be to all of us because racism impacts us all. Love to all my friends and family of color! I see you, hear you, and love you. You matter. #BlackLivesMatter
"There’s always one group of players that’s probably going to be left out or find at least more barriers than others. This one, I think, will be the first game that there really isn’t, and I think that that’s amazing." -@CyclopediaBrain. Watch more here: https://t.co/R5CFdSuGnc
Also, most of the videos shared recently by people on my timeline are not captioned.
Keep that in mind when sharing or posting a video. It may be nothing to people who listen on the routine but it is a big deal for me and others who rely on captioning to watch.
It's okay to speak up about your mental illness. I suffer from depression, and this quarantine has had some definite downs for me. I have even felt anxiety when I have to go out. Know you're not alone.
