Recent freezing temperatures across Oklahoma may have impacted wheat fields that have reached jointing or later growth stages.
Here is what to watch for and how to assess potential freeze injury in the coming days.

Here is a summary of a recent publication. More data supporting that grain only wheat in Oklahoma probably doesn't benefit from preplant. Your Pocket Book, definitely does not. https://t.co/vp3dVkV0yx
@tmonteIH Where did you buy that at?
Grandpa had one at moundridge Ks that he bought new in 74. Is a twin. Best year ever he said. Had 50 bu record yield and sold for between $5 and $6. Built a 50x 100 steel machine shed with full Concrete and added a huge garage.
Stopped west of Lakin at Millershaski’s fields. This one was zeroed out two weeks back. 4 years notill. Dug down and could see the wheat seed and the fertilizer pellets in the row two weeks back. Got a rain. It emerged a week ago.

I feel like a broken record but…
Dec Corn closed at $5.53 today…
Puts at $5.50 are 44 cents or about $85 an acre.
95% ECO #cropinsurance costs around $30-$35/acre for most farmers with similar price protection.
So yeah…you might want to take a look.
@JohnBergkamp In 98, 6 “got out” along the Turkey creek river on MP/HV Cty line. Range of 6 miles maybe. Sows had 2 litters before we were aware. We eradicated the threat over 3 months once discovered. Tasty project.
The best way to spread holiday cheer is by playing the Wabash Cannonball for all to hear! 💜

@SiekerSales@BadassWorkbench@NewAgSupply Generic Badger for the win? Down in the dirt and Tough as nails. But not the less than fierce Wisconsin variety. No celebrity fees or third party risk he takes a controversial stand like “everyone should use covers” or “ladders out” or “rye is ok to buy in a non liquid form”
@jmichael8430@JohnDeere Adjust the percentage difference. If you run calibration loads and then go back to active yield, it resets every time to an preprogrammed engineer number. The percentage difference sticks. Found out about it in the last 9 months. Customers got it dialed in and spot on now.
