@FACEIT_Darwin Would you guys consider adjusting the playoff schedule next fall? Thanksgiving is a major US holiday involving a lot of travel, and every year I see many teams forced to FFL/play with subs. Even just pushing R2+ matches to R3 times would help.
Also, why are we not allowed to offer reschedule times in playoff match lobbies? We’re left sitting on our hands hoping the other team responds to our messages.
Mike, your in-game attitude has ruined thousands of pugs for others, and you’ve only acknowledged how immature and selfish you acted when faced with consequences. If @OfficialRefrag has you back, I hope it’s after you’ve demonstrated a change in behavior.
You know what, I’ve seen a lot of comments about my behavior here, and after getting some honest criticism from friends and doing some self reflection, I realize you guys are absolutely right.
I have been acting like a brat, and it comes at the expense of others.
As I get older, and as I represent orgs like Refrag, I should be adopting a mentor role. I recognize now that this is behavior from when I was a young CS player, and it’s behavior I need to leave behind.
First I want to apologize to Tiski. You’re a good CS player and you don’t deserve to be talked to like that, and it was really insensitive to anyone dealing with depression or suicide. You acted with class and attempted to defuse the situation while I was throwing a tantrum. I am embarrassed.
Second, I want to apologize to Refrag. I understand that my poor behavior discourages people from experiencing the platform, which hurts everyone at the company. Refrag is a positive force for CS that has only done well by me.
I also want to apologize to FACEIT, who do so much to promote the health and future of the game by providing a secure competitive environment for all. My behavior undermines their efforts to give us a competitive platform with integrity.
My behavior showcased here is bad for everyone. I shouldn’t be putting players down, or scaring away people who might be interested in picking up the game, or sponsors who help create opportunities for us all.
I love this game and the community, so moving forward I will focus on acting my age and choosing behaviors that promote its health and success.
This won’t happen again.
