@KalVerahda@DonBauman61 Not Quite. By this method, 59 = 74 !
Actually, the problem is not in the math, but in the premise. It's been quite some time since there were only 133 million registered voters.
@bdog731@krassenstein ...not to mention the crowd that chanted "Hang Mike Pence" while searching for him after having built a wooden gallows -- or was that only present in the hours of violent footage that Tucker Carlson chose to omit in deference to the few minutes of calm video he aired on his show?
@bdog731@krassenstein Don't forget how pissed Trump was about so many of his supporters choosing to refuse to go through the magnetometers because they didn't want their weapons confiscated, when he told the Secret Service "Take down the F---ing Mags, they're not here to hurt ME!"
@rxjeff@HillaryClinton How about studies to compare the outcomes of studies such as those you describe with comparable in-depth studies correlating video game violence vs the mass shooters in Japan, Denmark, Austria or other countries where kids play such video games throughout their youth?
@kevindixon@HillaryClinton "Weapon of War" is just a phrase that people fight over. What's uncontestable is that guns like the AR-15 do exponentially more damage to victims than other kinds of guns, and are the bane of trauma surgeons who'd rather extract bullets than transplant organs (if even available).
@elonmusk@PatrickW@kylenabecker@Twitter So, are you implying that the reinstatement of Trump's account was the result of the council having rendered a decision in the matter beforehand?
With Russia mercilessly pounding away at Ukraine's power stations, it would be nice if, even though no NATO country can physically attack Russia's power grid without involving themselves in war, hackers across the globe were to execute cyberattacks upon Russia's power stations.
@JoeBiden So, making sure the House and Senate can be substantially in agreement right now, even tho you can't yet pass it in the Senate, pass it in the House in December, and then pass it in the Senate in January.
@mjnblack Can't read it. For this article, the Business Insider web site requires downloading the Business Insider App, which doesn't work (See the App's reviews in the Android "Play Store"). Maybe it'll work with a different Android version, but it doesn't with my tablet's Android 11.
@TheValuesVoter @elonmusk@rpyers Maybe @elonmusk had desperately needed a big tax writeoff!
If so, he could sell it back for its current value to the original owners, who could, undoing all of Elon's changes, grow it's value back to what it had been and make a mint, while Elon still gets his writeoff.
Win-Win🦝
[ And what could lead an actual billionaire to feel the need to appear as driven to attempt excercising a nose disposal penchant as an orange billionaire wannabe does, upon being unable to obtain some desired thing? ]
@JosephMirabile6 @ReFaked @DarioNhapulo @Travis758 @stubarron @castledanica @JoeBiden The guy who, in disregarding the advice of infectious disease experts, chosing instead to rely on wishful thinking in place of quick and decisive action, prevented containment of COVID when still possible, resulting in a nationwide shutdown (as well as millions of dead Americans)
@strydzn@eavawavfaea @JosephMirabile6 @ReFaked @DarioNhapulo @Travis758 @stubarron @castledanica @JoeBiden Easier to demonstrate where fault may lie than to demonstrate where it may not, unless you might care to help him do as you've asked by elaborating on your own methodology for proving a negative. Care to give it a try?
@elonmusk To avoid the possibility that someone might take umbrage over expectations regarding a foreign (to them) currency symbol, a more universal symbol (such as €) might be preferable to the '$'.
My choice, however, would be a moneybag emoji (like 💰 but without a superimposed $).
@elonmusk I think most people will agree that "Tricking people is not OK".
Much as the label "parody" can keep parody acounts from "tricking" people, an explicit "purchased" label can do likewise for purchased checkmarks.
Or even better, just use a dollar sign instead of a checkmark.
P.S. On the assumption that your politics align with Trump's, you'd have done better buying TruthSocial for that $44B, helping fund your hero's pending legal fights while you sold "subscriptions" to a captive audience.
Luckily (tho not for Twitter), that never crossed your mind.
Hey, @ElonMusk,
Everyone knows you're supposed to buy something AFTER you've broken it.
seriously…
Not the other way around!!🤡
The best thing for you to do with and for Twitter is:
1) write off what you can
2) give the code to the public, where it can remain alive and thrive
